Room was basic but clean, and the bed was comfortable. Very convenient to the train station. We don't tend to spend much time in our hotel room while on holiday, which made this economic accommodation a great option for us.

In Hotel Kristi I found everything I looked for in the hotel as a solo traveller - a good location, clean & bright room, clean quite spacious bathroom (shared, but never was a problem). I do recommend it to young travellers!
The only thing that was not particularly enjoyable was noise. I could not sleep with my window open as the street was just too noisy..

There was a wasbasin and a mirrow in the room, which was good, because I had a room with toilet & shower on the corridor. (The shower room was really small, but it was a good thing that they have a seperate toilet, so you can go to toilet if somebody is in the shower.) The room was quite big and clean and the area was quite peaceful (there was a restaurant nearby, but when window was closed, it didn't bother me). The hotel was quiet by night. You can have keys to to building and to your room, so it's easy to come & go and leave the room in the morning (you'll pay beforehand, when you go there).
The bed was terrible: too soft mattress and too hard pillow. There was 15 minutes walk from the main station to the hotel, which was almost too much on the heat of July with your luggage...

To be cheap and close to Termini is the most important factors affecting my choice
No soap at wc

Convenient location is the main plus, to my mind. It takes 5-10 minutes to go to the Termini station from where it is easy to get everywhere in Rome. The pension is situated in a quiet place and in a typical italian building so staying there you can see and touch real italian life, I suppose.
No condition

About 12 minutes' walk to Termini station. Staff is friendly. Double room with shared bathroom and there is mirror and basin in room. Bathroom is clean. Very worth of the money. I recommend.
Staff's english is not very good.

Sincere welcome and helpfulness from the Hotel Patron.
For the price it was basic but ok, but would have liked an extra pillow - eg in the wardrobe if required!

The location is good since it's not too far from the metro station and within 30 minutes walking to most attractions. Furniture was average for a one star hotel.
Terrible service. We were yelled at by the staff for knocking on the locked main door, even though we had emailed them about our late arrival (11pm). Very dirty room, including mold on the wall. Sheets had stains, but this could have been from food (I hope). Choose another one star hotel if you need a budget place to sleep.

The location was very convenient, the room and the facilities were clean. My bed was comfortable. What I loved about this place the most was the friendly staff there. The owner was very kind and helpful and her mother was incredibly nice. I would go back again next time I'm in Rome.

The people were helpful and pleasant and the room was very clean and airy.
The cafe and garbage trucks were extremely noisy until very late at night, but that is perhaps to be expected in an inner city. The facilities are spare but adequate

This hotel was very disappointing. I am currently involved in a dispute with visa about overcharging by the owners. This, however, is not surprising after staying at this place. The rooms are small and the walls are paper thin. The bathrooms smelt moldy and were constantly undersupplied. The owner came to our room at 1030 one night and told us that we were not allowed to talk! The next morning when my fiancee was on her way to the washroom the lady who runs the hotel cornered her and yelled at her about leaving lights on. Then on the way back the man who runs it cornered her and yelled at her suggesting that if we want to talk we should consider another hotel. The location is not good. It is not close to any historical monuments or popular sights despite how it is advertised. We did not feel welcome at this hotel.

It is relatively close to the center (20min of walking); the room was cleaned every day.
Windows in the 1st floor above the restaurant and frequented street -> quite noisy till 1a.m.
